    The wiring diagram on the cover is not very good; and I would like to simply wire a door bell type button. any suggestions?? I tryed trial and error on the terminals but just get a intermittent movement. THANKS

    Look at the back of the garage door opener and use the same terminals as the hardwired wall button.
