I have an old craftsmen opener That doesn't have remote capability. Is there an aftermarker device that k could possibly wire into the button on the wall that would give it remote capability??

You could use the 365LM Universal Receiver & Remote package found here. The receiver plugs into an outlet, hook two wires between the receiver and the operator and program the remote to the receiver. Pretty easy setup.
