Opener does not work by remote or wall switch. If I jump the terminals on rear of opener where wall switch wiring is it opens and closes. Need to know what to troubleshoot.

Have you tried running new 2-strand wire to the wall button or tried a new wall button?

Brian, the remote isn't operating the door opener. Looking for answer how to check the reciever on rear of opener. When I push remote button a red light on it comes on. This has got to be a 25 yr. Old opener. I doesn't have any electronic eyes on door.

You said it didn't work from the remote or the wall switch so I was trying to solve the wall switch problem first.
If it's just the remote that isn't working then I would suggest that you try to reprogram the remote. I need to know what make & model of radio receiver that is attached to the operator to tell you how to reprogram it though.

Raynor R150 is the make & model of the operator. I need to know the make & model of the radio receiver attached to the operator to help you with the programming. The radio receiver is usually attached to the back of the operator. If you remove the receiver you'll find the make & model printed on the back of the receiver.

The reciever on back of opener is an Intercontinental Dynamics Corp.Model M-9 with the remote being an ESP Micron ESP-T-9
