I have a opener that refuses to stay closed after everal years of good use. When I re-program the travel limits it seems to ignore them and runs past the open and close limits. Does this ring a bell with anyone ?

It's possible the limit (on the chain) has come off or the limit switch on the top of the powerhead could have gone bad. I'm not sure of the part #'s of these parts but if you have your owners manual they should be in the back. If you don't have a manual you can download one from the Marantec website or call them at 1-847-478-1500.
