Need to replace lost remote. Raynor 170-7 serial # 50593 built 12/93. No sign of "learn" button or 8/9 three position switches. Has Chamberlain 500 RGD receiver attached to back of unit 12/93.

If you remove the receiver from the back of the operator you should find the 9 DIP switches used for programming. You can use the 61RGD Remote.
Just match the switches in the remote to the one's in the receiver.

EDIT: Sorry I just realized that info above is for a different receiver. If you take the small door off the front of the receiver (it probably has "Chamberlain" or "Liftmaster" printed on it) using a small screw driver you'll find the program button. The 61RGD I suggested will work with the 500RGD receiver.

Have a great New Years! rendeer
