    Marantec m4700 Empty Marantec m4700

I have a marantec m4700 door and every time i try to program the traveling limits led 7 flashes continuously and the door will go past the limits.  I looked the code up on the troubleshooting section and it says that i have a safety sensor issue. How can i tell if the sensors are bad? They are both lit green and red.

Usually when #7 flashes that is the final step in the programming sequence and means the opener is ready to program a remote. If you already have the remote programmed to the opener then just skip that step by pressing the "P" button once. If you do that then the travel & force adjustments you made earlier should be saved and the LED #8 should be lit meaning the opener is ready to use.

I’m glad we both agree. I’ve done the programming process over and over. Set limits, strength and everything seems ok except when I close the door it goes past the closing limits and when it open it does the same. Sometimes I even get 6 flash warning and nboth transmitter and receiver are lit.

If you've gone through the programming but the limits aren't staying where you programmed them then the issue is most likely with the logic board and it should probably be replaced.
