I have two older lift master garage door openers that haven't been used in a long time. Were working fine last time used. I started using the doors manually, the doors both travel up and down easily with no problems or much effort. I am now ready to use them again. I only have one remote and programmed it easily to one garage door and it easily opened the door, but would not close the door. Currently with the sensors both showing bright green, the door will not shut, even with the door disconnected. It will travel only a foot or so then return.
The other garage door opener works from the switch, opens fine but also only closes about a foot before returning. With the door disconnected sometimes it only goes a foot sometimes it goes all the way. Either way connect the door back up and only goes a foot though one time went just past half way. IN all cases the sensors stay bright GREEN, do not flash, or show any other color.
I see no damage to the rail area and the springs look great.
