problems - Gliderol Roll-A-Glide Img_0310Wondered if anyone could help.

I’ve got a Gliderol Roll A Glide as pictured.

I’ve randomly had to press and hold the up and down buttons in order to open and close the door, whereas before I’ve always only had to press once.

I’ve changed the batteries in the sensor on the door but to no avail.

    Any advice?

It sounds like you are having problems with your Gliderol Roll A Glide. Here are some tips that might help you:

Check the door connection: Make sure the door is connected correctly and there are no loose or damaged wires.

Check button programming: Check your Gliderol Roll A Glide's instruction manual to make sure the buttons are programmed correctly. You may need moving company  to reprogram them.

Reboot the system: Try rebooting the system of your Gliderol Roll A Glide. Turn off the power for a few minutes and then turn it back on. This may fix temporary problems.

Check the sensor settings: Make sure the sensor on the door is properly aligned and there are no obstructions that could interfere with its operation.

If none of these tips resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting Gliderol customer service for additional assistance.

If you are experiencing issues with your Gliderol Roll-A Glide garage door opener, and changing the batteries in the sensor did not resolve the problem, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
    1. Ensure that you have inserted the batteries in the sensor correctly with the right polarity.
    2. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to reprogram your remote control.
    3. Electronic interference from other devices in the vicinity may affect the signal between the remote control and the opener. Make sure there are no new electronic devices causing interference.
    4. If the issue persists, it's advisable to contact Gliderol or a professional garage door technician for further assistance.
