Awhile ago I had a pair of new Synergy openers installed.  My old openers only used the basic one button wall control station and had the installer leave them.  For the most part everything works fine but occasionally the remote transmitters were all of sudden not work and the opener showed the external button light.  This happens more on one opener than the other.  I think what I've finally figured out is that when this happens what really is happening is i'm putting it into lock/vacation mode.  How do I prevent this from happening?   Do I just need to install the 3 button wall control?  I wasn't sure how a 3 button station worked to trigger the lock mode.

If I'm understanding you correctly you have the old single push buttons hooked up to the new openers along with Marantec wall stations? If that's the case then you should disconnect the single push buttons as they're not compatible with the openers and probably causing the problem. If you want more than the one Marantec wall station to control the opener then you should use the Marantec Wireless Wall Station. There's 2 buttons on it that can be programmed to two separate openers and there's no wires so you can put it anywhere inside the garage.

No I just have the single button wall station hooked up.  One button per opener.
