Model 250-7 Raynor opener Light stays on

Hi. I have a Model 250-7 Raynor Garage Door opener from around 1991 installed in my home. Suddenly, the light on the unit stays on all the time instead of shutting off automatically as it used to. Does anyone know how I could repair same? I am somewhat handy- do I have to replace the logic (circuit) board and do I have to disassemble the whole unit in order to do so? And if so, where can I purchase a new board? Thanks.

It sounds like the problem is with the logic board since it controls the courtesy light on the operator. They aren't that hard to replace. You can find the #6080406 logic board here at our web store.

are there instructions on how to replace the circuit board anywhere on the internet? And the board in my manual is identified as part no. 2080204, not 6080406. Will the 6080406 work in model 250-7?

Sorry, no instructions that I know of. There are only a few wires (3 or 4) that plug into the board so it's not too bad. As far as the part number, Raynor has changed that number a few times over the years. This board now covers the Raynor R-Series of openers from R100/200 to R150/250.

Just put the circuit board in which went in like butter! Light goes off again like it should. Thanks for your help.
