    Well, Random User, the original OP asked the question of how to program a second remote when you, apparently, have to erase all the codes from the first remote in order to get it to "Learn" the second remote. 

    The topic was locked so no replies.

    Joe Clements in Post #2 said "Thanks for this" and that's as far as it went. 

    Anybody have an idea? 

    I have a Liftmaster 1200, but exactly the same problem.
