Lifetmaster 8365-267 Doesn't close for when using remote some times...

My Liftmaster 8365-267 often won't close the first or second time I tell it to (using a remote).  Then I will take the remote down from my truck's visor and use it and the opener functions.   Other times it works as expected.  Never had the problem when it was first installed.   I tried replacing the remote and after pairing the new remote to the opener, it functions the same way.  The door physically functions smoothly and there are no obstacles in the path of the door.   Has anyone else encountered this?
