Hello. Any issues with cutting the tail end of a horizontal track on one side?
The cut would be about 6-8 inches off the end of one side of the track where the track is mounted by the punch angle. The plan is to cut it about 6-8 inches and move the punch angle up for support. There would still be plenty of room for the door to fully open and sit in the horizontal track.

As long as the door can fully open & you remount the hanger angle to support the track it shouldn't be an issue.

I highly recommend, drill a hole in the back of your horizontal track where you cut off the excess, and tighten a bolt&nut in that hole. That way, in any potential accident, your door can not run off the back of your tracks an cause some serious damage
