door - Top weather seal on a oversized door Empty Top weather seal on a oversized door

    Hello,

I have installed a 7' high door in a 6.5' high opening. I have left the tracks and No3 hinge as they would be for a 7' door

Since the top radius of the track is 6" higher than it typically would be when the lower panels are lifting up they are getting caught up on the top weather strip. This is because they are not being pulled far enough away from the opening as their hinge is not riding in the radius yet.

Apart from cutting the vert tracks 6" shorter and dropping the radius of the top track is in the correct position to pull the panel back in time to miss the weather stirp are there any tricks out there to fix this? I have tried pulling the door tracks back and moving the weather strip out but the entire door does not come into contact with the seal if I do this.

Any help or tips would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Brett
