Sears Craftsman opener. New rollers installed when serviced a few years ago. This year problem began. Electrical works, opener engages, but something stops the door from raising. Cleaned safety sensors. Door closes so it’s not that. Sprayed torsion spring with oil. Didn’t solve. If you keep pressing the button the door will sometimes raise but not always. The opener engages every time the button is pressed so I’m leaning towards it being the torsion spring.
I don’t want to buy a new opener only to find out I need a new torsion spring. Looking for some guidance so I don’t waste any money.
