opener - overhead opener Empty overhead opener

Post  bikernutgoofy Sat Jan 06, 2024 5:10 pm

just had a new overhead door opener installed in Sept and have used it about a dozen times and work great. Went to open it yesterday and it doesn't respond to the key fob, outside opener or the wall mount. click on the light and that workson wall mount, the inside wall mount stays red always. Safety has a green light on one side and a red on the other, if I step in front of them the red flashes until I move out of the beam. really would like to use this once in a while. I thought about unplugging it but I have a classic car in the way and can't get to the outlet to unplug any help would be great, thanks

Firstly, consider basic troubleshooting measures. Replace batteries in all associated components, including the wall mount and remote controls. Next, verify that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped, potentially interrupting the power supply. Additionally, ensure the safety sensors are clean, unobstructed, and properly aligned. Lastly, consult your owner's manual for specific troubleshooting guidance tailored to your model.
