It's a common problem. If you have the side room you could move the sensors a few inches into the garage. Or you could try swapping the sender and receiver sensors from one side to the other. Or you could also try making a small cardboard shield for the side of the sensor to keep the sun off the lens. Lastly you can wait a few weeks and the sun will move to a different part of the sky and you probably won't have the problem anymore (at least until this same time next year).
