I just installed an Aviator II to replace one of my original Aviators. Everything is working fine...except the old door bell type switch by the garage door entrance will not work. I verified the connections are in the proper place, the switch works (it does not have a light), the wiring is intact. The only thing I notice is that when I push the button the light on the new multi function switch blinks with me pushing the button. I tried disconnecting the main switch but that did not allow the other switch to operate.
It appears that this unit will not open with a door bell type switch or I have a malfunction which seems unlikely.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to add a secondary switch to activate the door.
Thanks
