My model 130-7 would not open but the light came on. I pulled the release cord and raised the door manually. I then adjusted some of the down pressure off the opener, thinking perhaps the door was closed too tightly. Then, I rotated the driven pulley to move the carriage to the other side of the down limit, expecting that when I tried to actuate the door, it would move down to the new, not as tight setting, and then move up when I pushed the button again, but it only moved down. I think there must be a relay switch to supply power for the two directions and the relay for the "up" direction is bad. Am I thinking correctly?
