Lift master issue

Hey all, I had an idiot moment the other weekend with my garage door. The opener is a wall-mount lift master. I pushed up on my door (by hand) when it was already open. Unbeknownst to me, it popped the cable off of the pulleys on both sides of the door. When I went to shut the door, the whole thing came crashing down.

My issue now is that after respooling the cables on the pulleys, I can't get the door to go up. When I hit the button, the door moves a fraction of an inch, then stops trying. I'm not too familiar with garage doors... any advice as to what my next steps should be?

Did you rewind the springs? If the cables came off then the torsion springs would have unwound.

I did not. Total noob when it comes to garage doors. Looks straight forward enough. I'll give it a try this weekend. Thanks!
