    I don't know the model number of my operator but here is some info. that I do have with me here at work. It is a 7447 Type1....600 SFPM Dbl. insulated.....DW4007R.....176846-04

    When I hit the button, it clicks and the motor is turning...(smoothly I might add) but there is no action. Either way open or shut. I unpluged it for 15 seconds or so then plugged it back in. Same. Any ideas?

    I would guess the drive gear enclosed in a black plastic housing is broken. These are made of a plastic/nylon and sometimes break. Neutral
