I have a fairly new Genie 2055 Opener.  About 3 years old.
Recently the garage was hit by lightning and the opener doesn't work anymore.  Garage is getting power, opener is getting power.
The opener won't run at all, but the lights stay on constantly instead of turning off after a certain amount of time, therefore I have to unscrew them to turn them off.
I took the control board out and inspected it.  I know my way around a control board enough to know a fried board, or blown circuit, etc.  This board looks in very good shape.
I can't see any scorch marks inside the unit, nor outside of it for that matter.  I inspected the transformer and that too looks in good shape, but I'm not 100% sure.

Before I invest in a control board and find out that's not the problem, figured I'd reach out to see if anyone can confirm my suspicions that is is the control board.

My logic is this...the lights work, but won't turn off unless they are unscrewed.  I can't hear anything "clicking" or connecting or anything when the button is pressed to open it.

Can anyone give me some hints or suggestions on what to check before I purchase a new control board?

    Thanks!!
