Hi, I hope somebody can help me ... I just had two Raynor 3255RGD installed less than 2 weeks ago, and one of the two doors will no longer close when i press the opener button. The opener light flashes ten times, suggesting that there is an obstruction or misalignment. However, the LEDs on the Protector System are both shining continuously and brightly, just like the ones on the door that is still working. I've tried cleaning off the LEDs, unplugging and replugging in the power cord, but nothing helps. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks!

It sounds like the sensors may be cross talking...this can happen when two openers are installed next to each other. Each set of sensors have a sender and a receiver. If the sender sensor is mounted on the left jamb of Door #1 and the receiver sensor of Door #2 is mounted on the right jamb then there's a possibility of cross talking. You'll want to swap them so you have the sender sensors on the outer jambs (left jamb on Door #1 & right jamb on Door #2).

I know - it sounds a little confusing. :?:If you have any questions feel free to email us at store@garagedoorzone.com

    Post  suebob22 Thu Jun 13, 2013 10:39 am

I seem to be having the same problem as the other person but I only have one door and one opener.  It sometimes works and other times it just blinks on and off.  There is absolutely nothing in the way and the sensors are clean.  Help please!

It's possible that the vertical tracks are flexing causing the sensors to be misaligned when the door closes since these sensors mount right to the track. You'll have to watch the sensors while the door closes and see if you can see them moving at all. Another thing you may want to check is if the sun ever shines on the sensors. If it does at a certain time of the day then that would explain why the opener won't close the door. The sun "blinds" the sensors making then opener think that there's something in the opening.

    Hope this helps.
