wall - no power to wall button and safety beam Empty no power to wall button and safety beam

Does anyone know what I need to replace if the power to both my wall button and safety beam are running at too low a voltage to operate them. I have low voltage 3-6 volts coming off the terminals on the unit itself. I touched the terminals with my battery charger and it causes them to both work/light up. I replaced the circuit board and it did not fix the problem. I have an older Overhead Door Signature Series screw drive unit. Any help is much appreciated! Could it be the receiver board?

    Hi!

There is no such thing as low power voltage. The garage motor is typically plugged into an AC plug, this determines your power supply. I don't think you need a receiver board, otherwise nothing would work.

It is most likely a wiring issue. I'm in the GTA. Where are you?
