Raynor 2265RGD Intermittent Problem Opening Door

My Raynor 2265RGD operates well most of the time, but occasionally neither the wall mount control nor the remote will open or close the door.  When this happens, the green light under the cover of the wall mount control is off, and it is as if there is no power to the unit, and the lights on the front and back of the motor unit will not come on either.  The following day, the light comes back on and the door is fully operational again.  The owner's manual had several suggestions, but none apply.  The  closest suggestion was that repeated operation may have tripped the overload protector in the motor, but this isn't happening after repeated operation.  Any suggestions out there?

Could be an issue with the outlet that you have the operator plugged into. Take an extension cord and try plugging the operator into a different outlet for a few days and see if there's any difference.

That very well may be the problem.  The unit is plugged into an outlet in the ceiling of the garage, so the plug may be working loose.  Thanks for the suggestion!
