I replaced my photo sensors and now my door works up and down with the door button inside. However, the keypad and remote will not work now. I tried to reprogram the remote and it doesn't work. I followed the keypad instructions but it will not work either.

It sounds like the Lockout/Vacation Switch on your wall station is engaged. If it is then it will lock out all the radio equipment. If it is then just unlock it & everything should work again.

I don't have a inside pad. I just have a small push-button. Is there another way to activate vacation mode at the actual opener?

No, only openers that have a wall station (with push button, light switch & vacation switch) would be equipped to do that. It's possible, since you tried to reprogram the remotes and they didn't work, that the radio on the logic board is bad.

It's hard to tell but you could remove the logic board and look for burn or smoke marks on the logic board. If you see any then most likely part of the logic board was hit by lightning or a power surge. At that point you would have to either replace the logic board or add a new radio receiver to the operator.

I was afraid of that because I bought a new remote and keypad.
