Hello everyone. Im new to the forum and did something very stupid today, so hopefully you will find some humor in it and feel compelled to offer some feedback.
I have a liftmaster 1/3 HP garage door opener. I had some issues with it closing and opening, and made some adjustments to the knobs and adjusted the slack in chain. All was working well. Was feeling very good about it.
However, I had lost one remote a couple days ago and figured I would unplug the motor and manually lock the garage door. I had to run some errands, and well you guessed it..... I forgot about manually locking the door and when my wife came home I proceeded to show her what a great job I did and broke the pully gear off the top of the motor when I hit the opener button. Im hoping this is a simple fix of replacing that top gear but wanted to get some feedback here first.
