this door closes about halfway and stops, does not reverse ..... chain had come off and put it back on and adjusted the tension.. down travel screw is adjusted all the way.....anybody got any good advice ???

Since the chain was off it seems the travel limits are out of adjustment.

You'll need to remove the cover to adjust them. After you remove the cover you'll see two white limit nuts on a threaded shaft. The one on top is the open travel limit nut and the one on the bottom is the close travel limit nut.

To adjust the close travel: pull the retaining rod away from the limit nut. Move the nut upward on the threaded shaft for more door travel. One revolution of the nut is approx. 3" of door travel. Give it a couple of revolutions and test it. Once you get the travel to where you want it make sure the retaining rod is engaged in the slots of both nuts.
