Just recently the lights do not come on when garage door is opened or closed. The lights have always automatically came on when the door is opened or closed.  The lights do work when I pull the chain on back of opener unit. The bulbs are good. When I unplug the unit and plug back in, I hear the click sound of the relay. Any ideas?

    Thanks, Brad

I'm not too familiar with the Stanley line. They haven't manufactured operators in 17 years or so and parts for them are almost nonexistent. That being said, most operators have the light control on the logic board. It's possible that the part of the logic board that controls the light has gone bad (lightning, power surge, etc.). You may be able to find a logic board on Ebay but I'm not sure that it would be worth it.
