I need only the pinned 6-tooth drive sprocket for a Model 170-7 opener.
Raynor advises the only way to procure is via an entire 1200011 assembly. I am rather surprised (... and disappointed ... !!!) that a part that is clearly designed for individual-piece replacement is only available as a bundled assembly.
For years the drive shaft pin would periodically work its way out, and the sprocket would simply spin on the shaft. I simply refitted the pin and finally, using a little Loctite, the pin remained steadfast. Unfortunately, over the years of the pin working its way out distorted ("ovaled") the sprocket pin hole and this finally failed due to back-and-forth stress.
Is there any source for the 6-tooth sprocket alone? ... even scavenged off of old 170 or 270 units? ... Thanks
