Liftmaster 1/3 HP working intermittently in rainy weather or high temps. Typically it works fine with no issues. Will make a click and light comes on with opener push but door doesn't open. Then release latch and manually open door and opener will work and trolley will move back and forth until it clicks in then door will close and open with opener.
I have video of it all but it won't let me upload.
Anyway, can this be weather related. I have had this happen when we have had extremely high temps and now we are having extreme humidity due to a lot of rain.
Only other thing I think it could be is a start capacitor possibly or have read about small breaks in solder and temps affect it.somehow. everything is greased and rolls properly.
