I have a 20 year old two car garage door which I believe is a Clopay from pictures on the web. The weatherstripping between two panels (middle ones) came off somehow in the summer heat. It was hanging outside and I had to pull it off for safety. I can't get anyone local to do a repair on it. One guy offered to do it for ~ $1,000, because he "had to take it apart and put it together again". He also said the garage door is in good shape and did not need replacing. I think I can replace the weatherstrip by separating the two panels. The strip is beat up but could probably be put back in service except it seems short by several inches. I also can't find a source for it and can't find anything that comes close in online pictures. There is a ridge on one side that would be inserted into a groove on the panel side. Any help would be appreciated finding a replacement. If a stick on replacement is appropriate let me know. Thanks in advance.
