Door to tall Empty Door to tall

I need to install a replacement tilt up door on my garage. The opening is 16x7, but the replacement door that I have is 7'2". Can this door be installed so that it closes against the header rather than  under the header. I realize that it will not be plumb and that I would need to adjust the mounting position of the mounting bracket. It will be manually operated and will be using Holmes garage door opener. It is a steel panel door that is a one piece door would be very difficult to cut down to shorten. Thanks

If I'm understanding you correctly all you should have to do is frame in the jamb differently for the door and track to be aligned properly with wherever you want it to land. Pictures would be helpful to paint a more clear picture.
