Linear garage door opener lubrication

I've got Linear garage door openers. They came with the property. Regular lubrication on chain: yes or no? The Linear manual is no help ("See manufacturer's lubrication instruction")

Generic web based maintenance advice ranges from "chains are permanently lubricated from factory" to "general grease works fine, but it'll seize and/or drip on everything." And let's not argue over silicon VS lithium grease.

So. Are Linear chains factory lubed? The manual and advertising doesn't weigh in.
